Startups around the world is Sunday column series created with the ambition to unite the entrepreneurial community around the world by introducing to the audience different startups on weekly basis. The purpose of this column is to improve our knowledge of what is being created by entrepreneurs around the world, to expand our network, to get informed and hopefully inspired.

Founded in 2012, the British startup Heat Genius is planning expansion in Europe in 2016. The company offers a product that allows the users to control their heating from anywhere via their mobile devices, laptops or tablets. Heat Genius learns when a room in your house is used and schedules your heating to turn on only when you need it. Heat Genius will help you to save money on energy bills, but still be able to feel warm and cosy in your home.

Favendo

Favendo is German startup that is tremendously refining the way we shop. It allows businesses to win new customers, to enhance customer loyalty, to optimize internal processes and many other cool stuff. Favendo is another proof that innovative technologies are changing the world as we know it for better!

Gizlo

Founded in 2014, Gizlo is Helsinki-based startup that is changing the way we give feedback by giving the feedback channel that connects businesses and users.
