Prudle labs is an Enterprise Application Software (EAS). Enterprise Application software is software used to solve problems and satisfy needs of organizations, rather than individuals, such organizations might be businesses, schools, hospitals, governments, clubs or any kind of organized group at all. As enterprises have similar departments and systems in common, enterprise software is often available as a suite of customizable programs.
Deepinder Singh who is the CEO and Co-founder of Prudle Labs, has 15 years’ experience working with corporate firms such as Dell and companies which associate with the localization and globalization industry, during his career he noticed a lot of pain points experienced the enterprises and the language industry. Deepinder tried to solve these problems which include the presence of a lot of unnecessary middlemen and internal commissions for enterprise companies.
Prudle Labs was founded in March 2017 in India, it eliminates all the middlemen and internal costs involved when enterprises deal with language translators, thereby saving cost for the enterprise, and increasing the profit of the language translators, also fostering a better relationship between both parties. Deepinder adds that the market size was $40 billion dollars in 2017 and would be $45 billion dollars by 2020, according to him, 10 million words get translated every day, Prudle Labs will charge 1 cent for every word translated. So far the startup has obtained a partnership with an Indian firm with 15 years experience and they have endorsed the startup via their website, Prudle Labs is looking at getting 200 other companies to give that kind of partnership.
Prudle Labs has been able to get a number of enterprises as clients and made $10000 dollars in revenue from operations. Prudle Labs was among the 25,000 startups that applied for Startup Istanbul 2017 and was selected to be among the top 100 startups and given a chance to pitch his product to the audience and investors present, hoping to raise about $300,000 dollars. Deepinder describes Startup Istanbul as a fantastic experience, and talks about the funds and platform set for startups to grow, possibly going global being the next step.
Enterprise software has come to stay and just like any other successful enterprise software, Prudle Labs is on its way to helping enterprises save cost and increasing profits for language translators. Going global is the next plan for Prudle Labs as they plan to scale as much as they can, operating in more cities as the team is currently present in India and the United States.
